Coming Spring 2019 – Discount Blood Tests For Self-Pay Patients
Internal Medicine of Stafford is pleased to announce that we have partnered with Quest Laboratories and have negotiated aggressive price discounts for laboratory testing for self-pay patients.
Our discounted blood tests allow people to satisfy their own health curiosity anytime at affordable rates and without a doctor’s requisition. This means that you can order a test to find out if you have a cancer gene, check your toxin or heavy metals level or find out if your vitamin levels are what they should be, even if your health insurance provider does not deem it necessary. You are no longer bound within the constraints of your health plans.
Quest Laboratories offer over 2,200 diagnostic labs across the country, meaning you have access to our discounted prices no matter where you live.
There are all kinds of reasons people would need a discounted blood test. Immigrants applying for legal status in the U.S. are required to get a clean bill of health before their applications are processed. Students who have no health care plans. Deductible levels of your healthcare insurance. These tests are beneficial to so many communities. If you know someone who does not have health insurance, be sure to tell them about this service.
Suboxone Program
Dr. De Simone is one of only 108 doctors in the Stafford/Fredericksburg area licensed to prescribe Suboxone, used in treating opiate addiction. Although not yet FDA approved, recent studies have also shown that Suboxone can be used in some cases for chronic pain management.
Opioid dependence is a chronic disease that can affect anyone. It could be a friend, a co-worker, a spouse, a brother, a sister or parent. If you or someone you know may be dependent on opioids, you are not alone. In 2013, there were nearly 2.4 million reports of people that had abused or were dependent on opioids such as heroin or prescription painkillers.
Suboxone may also be a great option for those requiring pain management who have reached plateaus in their current pain medication or if the side effects of the opiates outweigh the benefits.
